Tony's Biography
Now that you know a bit about Tony's many business
enterprises and this fabulous beachside resort city of Pattaya,
you are probably wondering just who is Tony? Well, Tony ( Mr.
Surapol Sanguanchartisorakrai ) was born in Bangkok, Thailand.
Tony's Father, General Lak Sanguanchartisorakrai was a Thai
military officer and while growing up Tony traveled widely with
his family. In his teens, he played music with one of the most
popular bands in Thailand, called the Dynamics. Then upon finishing
high school, his parents sent him abroad to U.S.A for a college
education.
While in the U.S.A. Tony spent nearly 20 years
traveling and performing as the leader of the show band called
"Tony and Friends". Tony and the band toured all over America.
He eventually settled down in St. Petersburg, Florida, where
he opened a very successful nightclub that he named after his
band, calling it "Tony and Friends". It was a popular spot for
locals and tourists for more than six years.
In 1998 an opportunity presented itself for Tony to return to his homeland, Thailand. As usual the hard working Tony immediately formed a business in Bangkok specializing in recording, producing and promoting other musicians. The company is called "Tony and Friends Music Company" it also books musicians for Hotel and Party function, all over Asia and the Middle East. "Tony and Friends Music Company" has grown into one of the leading talents agency in Asia.
Never one to sit still, Tony also saw entertainment business opportunities in the beachside resort city of Pattaya. Moving to Pattaya has been a very rewarding experience for Tony. He has built a successful business and developed a strong community spirit. His concern for homeless animals has grown into a passion and he has opened and now financially supports an animal shelter in Jomtien Beach. The shelter provides medical attention to homeless animals and helps to place recovered animals in loving homes. If you see an animal in need in Pattaya call Tony, he wants to help.
Tony's first business venture in Pattaya was to open one of the best and most exciting Nightclubs on world famous Walking Street called Tony's Entertainment Complex. Tony and his band perform regularly in the nightclub, stop in for a beer and listen to some great music.
In 2004 Tony's personal interest in health and fitness lead him to build several amazing Fitness Centers in Pattaya. Tony's Tennis Club and Fitness Center now has two locations in Pattaya and Jomtien. Tony's Muay Thai Academy and Tony's Gym (for serious body builders) on Pattaya's Third Road will soon be joined by an 80 room Hotel and Japanese Spa.
