Now that you know a bit about Tony's many business enterprises and this fabulous beachside resort of Pattaya, you are probably wondering just who is this Tony?
Well . . . . Tony ( Mr. Surapol Sanguanchartisorakrai ) was born in Bangkok, Thailand. Tony's Father, General Lak Sanguanchartisorakrai was a Thai military officer and while growing up, Tony traveled widely with his family. In his teens, he played music with one of the most popular bands in Thailand, The Dynamics. Then, upon finishing high school, his parents sent him to the U.S.A for a college education. While in the U.S.A.
Tony spent nearly 20 years traveling and performing as the leader of a show band called "Tony and Friends". Tony and the band toured
all over America. He eventually settled down in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he opened a very successful nightclub named after his band, "Tony and Friends". It was a popular spot for both locals and tourists for more than six years. In 1998 an opportunity presented itself for Tony to return to his home, Thailand.
As usual the hard working Tony immediately formed a business in Bangkok specializing in recording, producing and promoting other musicians. The company, called "Tony and Friends Music Company" booked musicians for hotel and
party functions, all over Asia and the Middle East.
Never one to sit still, Tony saw entertainment business opportunities in the beachside resort of Pattaya. Moving to Pattaya has been a very rewarding experience for Tony. He has built a successful business and developed a strong community spirit. His concern for homeless animals has grown into a passion and he has opened, and financially supports an animal shelter in Pluetaleung. The shelter provides medical attention to homeless animals and helps place recovered animals in loving homes. If you see an animal in need in Pattaya, call Tony, he wants to help.
Tony's first business venture in Pattaya, was
to open one of the best and most exciting Nightclubs on world famous Walking Street called Tony's Entertainment Complex. Tony and his band perform regularly in the nightclub. Stop in for a beer and listen to some great music. Watch a show, Play some pool, go bowling ( the only lanes on Walking Street )
In 2004 Tony's personal interest in health and fitness led him to build several amazing Fitness Centers in Pattaya. Tony's Tennis Club and Fitness Center, Tony’s Life Fitness, Tony's Muay Thai Academy, Tony's Gym, (for serious body builders) and Tony’s Japanese Spa and massage
Tony has also built some of the most luxurious apartments in Pattaya, the Lido Grand Hotel and Lido Guesthouse, they offer some of the best value accommodation in Pattaya, located opposite the Fitness Center on third road. This area also has Tony’s Lido Grand Hotel,
